The Armfield Civic Center will be hosting a Christian contemporary concert on May 18, 2013 from 6:30pm to 9pm! Additionally, the ACC will have facepainting, cotton candy, hot dogs, bounce house, and other fun events from 5pm to 6:30pm before the concert begins! We will sell concessions throughout the evening for your convenience as well.
The band "Driven" from Mt Airy will play from 6:30pm to 7:15pm followed by the Christian band "Calling Glory" from 7:30pm to 9pm. For more info on Calling Glory, go to their website at callingglory.com.
Tickets for the event are as follows:

Adults $9, Children 5-12 $4, and kids under 5 for free.

Armfield Crew Cleans Up 52 Bypass
No, there hasn't been a prison break in Surry County! This great photo represents a crew of volunteers from our staff and board of directors who worked Saturday, April 13 to clean up Highway 52 Bypass. The ACC recently adopted this road from the Highway 52 exit all the way to the Shell station near Highway 268. This crew picked up over 30 bags of trash during the afternoon. The next pick up day is August 3! We would love to see you there.
