About
The Edward M. Armfield Sr. Civic & Recreation Center, known locally as the Armfield Center, or simply ACC, is located in beautiful Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. ACC offers a variety of activities. Whether you want to join a fitness class or work out in one of our fitness rooms, ACC can accommodate all your needs.
Our Junior Olympic-size pool is great for lap swimming or playing with the kids. For those who need a little warmer water, we have a therapy pool (warm water pool) and spa. Recreational youth sports and child care is also available.
On beautiful days when you want to be outside several options are available. ACC is home to Nelson Acres, 120 acres providing trails, and an 18-hole disc golf course.
In the public park area directly behind our facility, we have a playground, a picnic shelter, an amphitheater, a paved walking track, and more.
The Armfield Civic Center staff has the primary goal of creating fun and exciting fitness opportunities for the whole family. We are proud to serve Pilot Mountain and the surrounding communities. Feel free to contact the staff with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have.
